Chasing kids with many balls

shooting soft foam balls & rolling basketballs at kids by coach
in this very popular game, coach tries to touch the kids with the foam balls and basketballs
foam balls are hit with the squash racquets, use 2 racquets to be able to hit more balls in less time
the basketballs are kicked along the floor
the more balls are in play, the higher is the intensity
kids will learn to judge the bounce of the ball and the angles they come off the sidewall
I encourage to hit many balls over the walls before they touch kids to teach them the angles of how balls come off the wall
watching the ball & concentration also needs to be high for kids to not be hit by the balls
each kid has 5 lifes to begin with, they loose one if they get hit
kids often don't want to stop and get a tremendous workout while having lots of fun
orientation is another coordination skill that is greatly improved with this drill
the more balls and/or the more kids are playing, the more the skill of orientation is improved upon
kids need to keep track of where the balls are moving to but also where the players are in this small space
by chasing kids with the ball, they will get an even better workout
